Cheryl Leahy joined the firm in June, 2008. She is originally from Chicago and earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago in 2003. Ms. Leahy then earned her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). During her time at the University of Chicago and then at UCLA Law, she studied law in Ireland and Scotland, and held a legal internship with the Irish Department of Agriculture and Food (DAF).
Since graduating from UCLA, Ms. Leahy’s practice has covered a variety of areas of law. Her practice areas include general litigation, administrative law, false advertising, criminal law, animal cruelty, landlord-tenant law, non-profit management, corporate law, and contract disputes. She is a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia bars.
